Maybe it is just me, but is anyone else ever surprised by how many people from their high school/past that aren't anywhere to be found online. By online I mean for the most part the bigger sites like Myspace and Facebook. It is just odd to me. There are tons of people I used to know and yet they are no where to be found. I have been significantly surprised by the lack of online presence of many of my high school friends/acquaintances. Even my bf from high school, was VERY into computers, was a huge geek and all that... He is no where to be found. Part of me thinks it's because he's busy [we've kept in touch via email and phone calls once in awhile] and part of me thinks it's because he still prefers anonymity. I'm facebook friends with his wife, who also went to school with us.

And yet I seem to have more contact with a friend of mine who went overseas to the peace corps and lived in like Africa for 2 years and only got to use a phone once a week or month or something. I'd get emails from him any time he'd be in town at home.

But all the people I don't particularly care for and never pegged to be "into" the internet, they have their shit posted all over the place.

I'm always disappointed when I have dreams about a crush from high school and fail to find any relevant info on them on the internet. *shrug*

Yeah I don't get it at all. I went to two different high schools so had a total of around 120 kids for my grade. Of those 120 maybe 10 are anywhere to be found and for the most part none of the ones I am looking for.
