~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: As a replica of the original Fon Master, Florian has the ability to read what is called the "Score"; a prophecy predicting the events of the future. It's unknown whether he can use Daathic Fonic Artes as Replica!Ion and Original!Ion are able to. Though it can be assumed he can, we never see it or hear it mentioned at all.
How would they use their abilities?: Assuming reading the Score would work on the ship, he could help determine if terrible things were going to happen? Really, he would only be able to use them in that kind of ability still works away from Auldrunt/Daath. And he hates reading the score. But he's nice and would do it to help if asked very nicely. Or by Anise.

Pretty much exactly the same as Replica!Ion and Original!Ion. Seeing as both he and R!Ion are clones of O!Ion, it makes sense.
He's fairly short, probably standing somewhere below or just over five feet. He's only slightly taller than Anise.
Due to lack of proper care from Mohs, he's fairly thin, though he's filling out and becoming healthier thanks to Anise's parents.
His hair is dark green, with the sides grown long, extending to bellow his shoulders. The back is cropped short, and sticks out quite a bit. His eyes match his hair, and are very large, to emphasize the innocence he practically embodies.
Florian's clothing appears to be a modified version of the Fon Master robes, a tan dress-thing, with blue lines running from around the neck straight to the hem and independt blue lines circling the ends of the sleeves.
There is a weird blue thing that covers his neck and shoulders and looks like an undersweater, but I'm not sure what that is. His shoes are just a light brown slipper-sandal type deal.
Background/Personality:
Florian is one of those characters that, while having an impact on the story, has very little screen-time or background. As such, some of this comes from headcanon. This is mainly just what happened in the volcano. I'll indicate what is head canon by changing the color to blue. Florian's story starts with his predecessors: the story of the original Fon Master Ion. The original Ion was sick, and destined to die at the age of twelve. To ensure that the thing he hated most --the Score so many followed religiously; the thing that had predicted his death when he was young-- was destroyed and the "trash" that was humanity would stop following it's every word to the letter, he created seven Replicas.
The first four were killed, the fifth abandoned, and the seventh taken to replace Ion when he died. This left only the sixth. He was to be disposed of along with the other "failures" by being thrown alive into the Zaleho Volcano. However, Florian managed to escape the volcano's wrath, only able to stand by and watch his "brothers" burn, unable to comprehend what he was seeing. Days passed as Florian sat in the volcano, frightened by the world of heat and fire around him, fellow replicas long since dead. Eventually, he was found by Mohs, doing recon to make sure that no evidence of the replicas creation was left.
He was spared a last minute death, and instead kept in "storage", waiting for the time when he would be needed to replace the seventh replica should he refuse to do his job, or fail. Florian was kept away from the outside world, only having any contact to others through Mohs, or an infrequent caretaker, and this continued for two years.
Due to this near complete isolation from the world since the day he was created, he doesn't know much beyond walking and talking, and even struggles with the those at times. He lacks the knowledge of basic things, such as the concept of death, what is socially acceptable, and right and wrong, pushing him to constantly ask a multitude of questions about the mysterious things he encounters. But because of who he is --a replica, and one of the original Fon Master at that-- he is a fast learner, able to pick up on the smaller things fairly quickly. After Moh's infrequent visits, he would practice the words that had been spoken to him, mimic the movements the man made to carry himself across the floor. Walking came faster than talking did, though he learned quickly to not run, or he would end up falling over and hurting himself.
He spent two years watching the world pass him by, isolated from the things around him and attempting to develop his own sense of self beyond "Ion's replica".
Then the seventh replica died, and Florian's life outside of "storage" began.
He was taken by Mohs to read the Score ( as stated before, the Score is the prophecy left by Yulia Jue, predicting the futures events, and is supposed to lead the world to prosperity should they follow it. But they have to start wars and kill innocent people to do it. Yeah. ) something he greatly dislikes, mostly for the fact that he is tired and worn out after reading it and risks poofing completely do to his body being made of only sevenths fonons and being unstable. ( Holy run-on sentence, batman. )
Unfortunately for him, the Score did not say what Mohs wanted to hear. In fact, it said the exact opposite. And the replica was nearly tossed aside completely, accused of lying and attempting to trick Mohs. He didn't understand the situation, lost as to what he had done to deserve a treatment like that, and what exactly it was Mods had wanted. 'Cause the guy never told him. So. Yeah.
But then Anise's group kicked his ass.
Seeing his confusion and distress ( and his, you know, resemblance to Ion who had just died and she cared so much for ), Anise reaches a hand out towards him, inviting to come with her and the group. They would take him somewhere safe, where he would be able to be happy and never have to read the Score again.
Soon it was decided, he would go live with Anise's parents in Daath, where they would not force him to read the Score or keep him locked away. But he needed a name, didn't he? Well, Anise brought him, so why didn't she name him?
Thus he was dubbed "Florian", ancient ispanian for "[the] Innocent One".
When in Daath and under the care of Pamela and Oliver Tatlin, Florian quickly begins to show his true self, the part of his personality he was not able to express when kept locked away. He could be compared to a toddler, always on the move, and always searching for new things to do or amuse himself with. He enjoys meeting new people, and seeing new places, doing the things that he'd been forbidden to do since his creation. He proved to be very childish, fond of running around and playing games such as tag or hide-and-seek. He agreed to act in a play for orphaned children as the original Fon Master, eagerly begging Anise to join him and play the mischievous demon he must tame.
He both confuses and frightens easily, due to his inexperience ( shown in how he cowered from Triteheim upon first metting him, though he gave no threat ), and doesn't take well to other expressing anger at him. He needs someone to guide him for the most part, quickly becoming lost in a flood of things he does not know. He clings to those he trusts, counting on them to let him know when something should or should not be done. Also due to his inexperience, he's quick to believe what he's told, and takes people and their words at face value. This easily leads him to being tricked by less kind people, unaware that they aren't the kind he needs to become friends with.
Florian appears to be somewhat strong mentally, keeping a cheerful attitude even after witnessing the deaths of the other four replicas and being kept away from the world. He's the sees the brighter side of things even in bad situations, and tries to bring others with him on that view. After all, his situation got better. Why shouldn't someone else's? He is simply one of those characters who does not run on logic or thought, but sheer emotion. He likes this, he doesn't like that, and it's just that simple to him. He has no strict set of morals, but simply goes by how he feels about things, whether others agree on them or not. He's never had a reason to sit down and make decision based on facts and evidence.
Florian enjoys learning new things, and being outside and just being free after being isolated for so long.
He could never run or play or enjoy the sun and flowers before, but after leaving with Anise, he can do these things all he likes, and he loves that. He is very much the bright, happy child with an insatiable curiosity and a zest for life, short one though it has been.
He can be impulsive in a frustrating way, snatching up the staff of the Fon Master in a moment of glee when Pamela is going through Ions old things. when asked to give it back, he runs off, and has to be chased down to get it. Despite this, he remains caring, letting Anise take something he considered precious with her simply because she needed it.
Though he seems to come to like many people, his favorite one will always be Anise, the very first person to show him kindness, and the one to give him a name. She saved him from his lonliness, and gave him a home.
And in conclusion, from that day onward, he lived in Daath with the Tatlin's, assuming the role of the Fon Master until someone more capable was found; preferably Anise, who decided to train to become the first female Fon Master.
He still doesn't like reading the Score though.

Thread on Dear Mun Thread from Mayfield A Thread from Mayfield B 3rd person sample:
Pamela says he has to be careful when he's running. He's still too clumsy and doesn't watch where he's going as much as he should.
After one too many tumbles down the stairs, he does as she instructs, and stops running at full speed everywhere.
He's learning to be more careful these days. The rules --to keep him safe she and Oliver say-- aren't that hard to follow. Don't run, don't slide down the stair 'ban-i-sters', don't try jumping over the stairs, and never go outside alone. but sometimes he can't help but check the corridors, make sure no one was around, and take off in any direction he wanted as fast as his legs could take him. He'd never gotten to run around like this when he was with Mohs. It was always quiet then, and he had to stay in that room and be good until he was needed.
He had gotten out of the room once and taken to happily running everywhere he could find in the old building. But Mohs had found him even then.
Florian wasn't allowed out of his room after that. He's hated the grey walls, and the silence that always filled the building.
But here it was only quiet when everyone got together in the important parts of the cathedral. Every other time there were always people talking or laughing and he always got to meet new people. Even if they looked at him weirdly, Florian loved having them around.
His favorite time was when Anise came back with her friends. He couldn't help running when he saw her, even in full view of Pamela and Oliver and knowing he would be scolded for not being careful. He couldn't help it because Anise was his favorite person in the world. He liked Pamela and Oliver to, and Anise's friends, and the little blue 'cheagle' called Mieu. He liked them all, and it made him so happy to see him that for that time the rules didn't matter.
And when he was scolded later, all he could do was hang onto the memory of the hug Anise had given him, or the way Luke had smiled when he'd talked about the places they had gone to visit. He'd take him to go one day to, he promised. After all, Florian was probably eager to see the rest of the world, right?
Florian liked Daath. He liked the cathedral and the room he got to stay in. He liked Anise and her friends and her parents and the different people he met when he got to go away from his studies. But he wanted to see what the rest of the world was like too.
Of course, Anise said, he had to wait a little longer before he could.
And he figured he could.
Right now, he was just happy being able to run around and play with everyone around him.
Questions?: How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?
Did you put your characters name and fandom in the subject: Of course. :D
