My co-worker just received a $13,000 grant for buying a condo in Germantown. She said Washington County gave her the grant because A. she made less than $67K and B. Her home was less than $200K. She also mentioned that Milwaukee County will give you $5K but was unaware of all of the stipulations. This is the second time I've heard of someone catching this deal. If this is true-- why the hell don't real estate agents mention it? Anyhow -- definitely something to look into.
