She may have been the Holy Woman, but I did not kill her.

And neither did Claudia, in spite of what their recent falling out may lead some to believe.

I know nothing of this 'Snape' person, either, so lay your blame elsewhere.

Yeh, like if Claudia needed a killin' done you wouldn't jump from the word 'go.'

Shut up, Walter. No one even asked you.

((Vincent's upset overrides his sense of discretion.))

She did not, and that is the point.

You seem like another one who knows about Alessa.

What made her so special?

She wasn't special. Not to my sect.

Regardless, I did have some respect for her... sympathy, even.

Yeah different sects.

Alright, what made her so special to the other sect then?

She was to be the vessel for the Holy Mother.

I believe you, you would have nothing to gain from that.

Such a pity. Perhaps she has come to realise her lack of a place in the future of things and, upon this brutal epiphany, sought the quiet of her own damnation lest it be brought to her instead?

Now she shall never know paradise. Poor lost Alessa.

Indeed. I pity her, in a way... now she will never know Mother's embrace.

You'd normally have confessed to killings. This isn't like you. It probably isn't you, although I'm not ruling you out.

But who do you think it would be? You've killed somewhere around 20 people, you know how it's done. Find this person, stop them.

I can't do anything from where I am.
