there was this wonderful documentary i'll have to try to remember what its name is...anyhow it's about genetic screening etc., the movement of 'preventing' certain 'disabilities' et. al.....great documentary, interviews with folks with all sorts of 'disabilities' looks at the special abilities that come packaged with these 'disabilities', examines the freedom to be different etc....great film, and i'm kicking myself for not remembering :(

hey now that work is getting back to normal for me, we should make that overdue lunchdate....i'll see if i can remember that name of the film by then :)

yes totally, Tues & Thurs. work best for me, but I have a fairly flexible schedule. :)

In terms of the political rights of persons with disabilities, Provincially and Territorial, there are still barriers preventing full participation in the political process. Quebec and New Brunswick still have statutory provisions that disqualify some persons with disabilities from voting in elections.

I am interested in finding out what those are.
