It's tragically fitting that news of the Latimer parole decision made headlines at the same time we marked another anniversary of the massacre of 14 women at École Polytechnique. Robert Latimer did not have the right to take away Tracy's life

Enough said, in my opinion. It shouldn't need to go any further than that. It is unfortunate that the debate seems to revolve around the definition of the word "life."

Ditto for abortion.
