Weird dream. About wood.

Everything, walls, floor, furniture, television (although the toaster was still normal 0_0). And it wasn't even nice polished wood, it was pale raw wood. I wandered upstairs and found to my ( Read more... )

I'm sure a psychiatrist would say something about an "unfinished life" but what the hell do they know anyway?
I once had a dream where everything was made out of jello... but that turned out to be a lot of fun *snerk*

Then Rufus Sewell showed up and...

Rufus Sewell...Wasn't he Rasputin in Hellboy? He's awesome. Very nice looking. But what does he have to do with jello? Oh...

Nothing weird, that I can remember, though I did eat some fish soup that I'd made a few days before, I hope it hasn't gone off...

I'm with Drayce. Your house usually represents you. The fact that your Dad was there is important, and you wondered if he slept through the rennovation..hee hee. You have commented before that he did nothing to help shape your world-view in the past. SO yes, he DID sleep through your "rennovation". XD You didn't wake him up...might mean that the changes you make will not affect him. He won't change.

The fact that your bedroom (the most personal part of you) stayed the same and is interpreted as comfortable, means you are at ease with that part of yourself and are interested in changing and developing the more "public" areas of your life.

Wow, you know that actually makes sense? Actually, my dad did lots to shape my worldview, he just didn't interfere with the religious parts, except for asking questions occasionally, which I was always uncomfortable with because I couldn't answer them satisfactorily. But despite that he didn't try to keep religion away from me, he instilled a love of science and studying the world, and so I became more logical and rational, but he always left me to come to my own conclusions. He's more like me than my mom, and he's the one who seems to understand me the best. So maybe he did sleep through my renovation, because he's secure that whatever I end up with will be okay.
