nothing more disheartening then every time you reach for someing you want, wish for it's just baiiirly out of your reach. though in ways this i sjust how life is. you would not appreciate it if you didnt work for it. this is why most of our generation[and newer] is a generation of GIMMIES and spoiled brats. even the customers I service to are ( Read more... )

yeah ^^;;; full time jobs really take up your time. Sadly if no one else around you has one they just cannot fathom why you're never available. I get the added fun fact of being available only on week days not weekends. which then gets the previous group of part timers and school people PLUS the full timers with the mon- friday going ... what? you're not available?!

I just know I need a break of some sort. it's been 5 months of "well we dont know when you r days off are...of if you'll get two" I COULD easily sit there and say too bad I'm taking my days off- but I can't. physically I need to mentally I should but my duty and honor wont let me take the time off.

I'm earning money yes, but not at the rate I want and I cant get the time off I wish for to spend it with friends. 5 months of 40-60 hours weeks never knowing when your days off will be or if they'll even exists, always being behind at work never getting a foot hold ahead- yeh- it sucks.

lol honestly I'm Barely! at 60 I'm feeling too old and picked up bad...baaaaddd comfort habits. funny 5 years ago I was working 80 hours a week for about a month. wish I still could do that physically.

nngh I can imagine the frustration with never having a set schedule! I'm sorry, least all that hard work paid off AND the Disney job was fun ;D

NOW its' Graduation/summer break and the volume of cakes is 3x of normal. I've been by myself as the only decorator since my part timer has been on LOA and causing a legal fuss about going to work or not working. it's a bit of a drama fest I've taken to just turning around a nd doing my job. too much to do to get involved in the nuances of someone else legal drama.
