Chapter XII
December 22, 2012; 18:48
Kei opens his eyes and immediately sit down, his sight is a little blurry because of his sudden actions but as he blinks his eyes it's already crystal clear. The first face he saw is Hikaru's face who is starring at him worriedly. His been sleeping for almost two hours since he loss his consciousness. He stay like that for a few seconds and then he smiled that make his friend have a fluster look on his face. Kei slowly stand up and then fix his clothes. "Aren't you sad, remembering everything all alone?" he asked him seriously.
"K...Kei... Your memories are back?" Hikaru asked him surprisingly. He watch as Kei look at his wristwatch and check for the time. It's already 18:48 and the sun is already setting. "H...how? Yo...you..."
"I need to go." Kei told him not letting him finished what he is about to say and not even explaining anything to his best friend. He get his stuffs lying on the ground and then check if he have everything with him. On his way he meet a girl named Ayaka who is currently Hikaru's girlfriend, she has some drinks and snacks with her. Tapping her shoulder he whispered something to that small right ear "I'll going to meet him." and that simple sentence make the latter shed tears. When she is about to see Kei he is already a distance away from her until his back totally vanish from her sight. She felt another hands tap her shoulder and it is Hikaru who is smiling back at her as is saying that everything's will turn out great.
Kei run towards his destination as he reach the main street he bump on someone which he didn't intend to do. The basket of fruits that she is holding drop down the ground and so Kei grab the basket and then put all the fruits inside it , gladly all the fruits are in good shape. He give it to the young lady who is starring at him and so he smiled. "I'm sorry Nami-san I'm in a rush." he told her. "But I guess it's time for you to walk with someone or else it will be dangerous on your part." he continued his words and then finished it immediately as he said his goodbye.
Nami smiled as she hold a grip on the basket "Okaeri."

Kei road the train going back to his place where the temple was just near. He can't believe that in just few hours everything comes back. He can remember everything and the only thing that is on his mind is to him again. The promised day which he can't remember for all the past years. That guy is waiting for him in that same place.

Running just after he reach his station he finally arrived at the temple but he still need to go through the 100 steps going up to see the cherry tree.
Can i see you again? I wonder if I pass through all these steps i can see you waiting for me at the top. You are the one giving those papers right? If only you introduced yourself to me. No, even if he did it will be useless since i can't remember him at all. My heart is beating faster like it is running a race, i don't know how will i talk to a 20 years old him but it doesn't matter at all i just want.... I just want to see him and that's all.

10 more steps before he can reach the top and his heart was beating faster like it will burst out.
9 more steps and he stop for a moment breathing deeply. He remembered everything that happened in his dream. All the memories that they shared together. All the pain, happiness and sadness that they shared together. Everything means a lot to him. Kota change him, he owe him so much.

"Kou?" he uttered but when he finally reach the cherry tree there's no one there but only the cleaner of the temple and sweeping the ground. He can't see anyone in that place. There is no Kota Yabu around. "Eh? Wh….why? Why?"
"Young man. What do you need?" the old man asked him.
"is there a guy here? Is there a guy who went here? Tell me old man…" Kei asked the old man consecutively and in a rush manner.
"Calm down young man. Are you talking about someone who is in the same age as you are?"
"Yeah… is there? Is there someone?"
"There is a young man came here and he said I should give you this piece of paper if someone in his age came here." the old man answer. He put out the piece of paper on his pocket and give it to Kei. Kei immediately open it up and read the words written on it.
I'LL SEE YOU IN THE FUTURE AGAIN.
"Old man… where did he go? Where did he go? He leave already?"
"He went with his bicycle. He is waiting for the whole day already. He just go away."
"Thank you old man. I'll follow him."

Kota was riding his bicycle when he noticed that his shoelace was untie. He stop for a while to fix it up and while doing so his phone ring and it was Ayaka. He answered the call but he only heard a shout from the other line. "Can you tone down your voice. What's wrong with you?"
"Kei-niichan's memory is back. He is on your way… in that cherry tree. Did you meet?" Ayaka asked him.
"Huh? No… I'm on my way home. Are you sure about what you are saying? I didn't see him." Kota answered.
"What are you talking about? His memories already comes back, isn't this what you are waiting for? Meet him!!!" Hikaru shouted to him. "The 6 years of waiting will now end today… isn't that what the twin told you."
"Hikaru…I… I'm nervous. He really… he really remembered me?"
"What are being scared of. Didn't we just tell you that he comes to your direction. It means he wanted to see you. You fat cry boy… you are an old man already. Do it, Kou." Hikaru said.
"Yeah…" Kota whispered. He end the call and immediately go back riding his bicycle. He was nervous, his mind can't think clearly. How long did he waited for this time to arrived. He can still remember what happened to him when Kei save him and went to Hokkaido.
Flashback:
"For 6 years Kei Inoo will forget about you and because of that you must avoid him. It is his compensation for entering Borderline. After 6 years he will come back and you can go back to him as well. In the expand of 6 years you should not do anything to make him remember everything or else it will be totally loss and he will be gone to you forever."
"Then letter is fine right?"
"Yes.. As long as you don't passed your boundaries." the twin said.
"Yeah."
End of flashbacks.

Kei run as fast as he can. He didn't know what direction Kota went and he just went to the straight direction of the road. But after running so much he felt tired and he rest for a moment. He is breathing heavily while sweat is all over his face. He never run like that for years.
While catching his breathe he heard a bicycle suddenly stop in front of him. He look up slowly and then he saw a familiar face also starring at him also catching up his breathe. They are both catching their breathe before they have a chance to talk to each other.
"I'm back." Kei whispered. "Kou…. I'm back."
"Okaeri… Okaeri." Kota repeated.
They let each other have a breathe of fresh air before they finally have a talk to each other. Kei feels so great seeing Kota again and remembering him again in his memories. He was glad that he went to Borderline and find the answers to everything. Like the twin and Shayna said Borderline doesn't mean harm.

I know it's kind of random and i can't remember where i get the idea of this. i finished this i think 2012 but i never posted the ending yet... as i remember it. So here's the ending finally. Happy Chinese New Year again and see you on my next updates^___^
