Okay, actually posting an entry now. This semester has been insane. I am taking way too many labs, and I have been miserably ill for the last two weeks. I feel much better now, though. My father wrote me an odd email in which he informed me that "my friend has been very sick with the flu." Was the friend in question you? My dad isn't very good with names but he's known you FOREVER!

ARRG! I hate that word!

I hope you feel better soon. I recommend steeping some thin slices of ginger root in hot water to make ginger root tea. That's my magic cure-all. It helps me get to sleep on restless nights, too.

Thank you. My throat actually feels much better today, though the labs show no sign of letting up. I'm attempting to go to a contra dance tonight, which is probably a mistake. Your job is sounding really cool, I'm so glad you got it.

By the way, I have discovered that chrysanthemum tea is good for a sore throat. I'll bring you some when we meet up this week.
