So you're in Portland, are you? No wonder I can't catch you on the phone!
Yes I would like the Challah recipe.
Yes I will be in Pullman for spring break, but for probably something like three days. I am coming up this Thursday and will probably be returning to Walla Walla on Saturday.
Also, have you ever heard of an author named Lois McMasters Bujold?
[amanda] Why yes, I have heard of Lois McMasters Bujold. I liked his earlier stuff, but then later became frustrated with his increasingly elaborate and boring plots. However, I thought his earlier works were highly entertaining, and funny. Why do you ask? I'm not getting back until Sunday, so we will probably miss each other. [/amanda]
It's not a he but a she. As far as I am aware, Bujold has two series for which she is known, the big one is the Miles Vorkosigan series that is about 12 books long and is firmly within the sci-fi genre. I haven't read any of those so I don't know if they are any good, though my friends say that they are more addicting than chocolate.
Lately I have read a differnt series written by Bujold that starts with a book called "The Curse of Chalion." The second book in the series is "Paladin of Souls" (a stupid name, reallY) and the third, which just recently came out, and I have not yet read, is "The Hollowed Hunt." Have you heard of any of those? If so, what did you think?
