I love quail! They are so cute with their top-knots and the way the little babies follow their mother in a single-file row.

By the way, did you get the package I sent you? I sent it to your mother's address because I managed to lose your trailer address. I think I lose your trailer address as often as you lose my phone number!

I actually managed to pretty much forget it was my birthday, but it wasn't bad, just completely uneventful. I did get your package just last night and it was very, very cool. I haven't had a chance to read the book yet (as it didn't seem like the kind of thing I should be reading right before bed), but I did wear the socks. Happy Birthday! I'm even only a day late. I will give you your present when you are in town, should I manage to actually complete it. Oh hey, I just won a $50 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble. Cool, huh?

Let me know what you think of "V for Vendetta." I really enjoyed it!

I will make one comment though (that won't give away anything about the plot). I think that the artist wasn't remarkably good. Sometimes I got characters confused because they all looked basically the same. I know it might not really be her thing, but after you read it, what would you think of asking K to illustrate a version of V? It's a huge project and she might not like the story, but it seems like the sort of thing she would be very good at. Much better than the current artist for sure!
