PERSONALITY: Eison has a hero complex to put it quite simply. He is strong willed and determined. He detests being called weak. Being that he's a "Superhero" at home, he's got a strong sense of justice and right and wrong. Eison does not tolerate others being stepped on or treated poorly. Because he grew up with a disability, he understands being the underdog and strives to stand up for those individuals.
He has a friendly personality. He seems to socialize easy, and considers himself approachable. He likes to joke and tease as long as it isn't at someone's expense, and as long as it doesn't hurt someone. If he does hurt someone he will instantly guilt about it. He will apologize and feel bad about it until he has the chance to make it up. He desires friendship, but finds that he can have a hard time with it.
Due to his strong willed personality, Eison can come off as stubborn. While he is a good person, who tries to be friendly, if he disagrees, he is not above telling you right off the bat that he disagrees. It has to be extremely important before he'll step up and be straightforward about an issue (ie: someone is being wronged, something isn't right).
Despite his friendly demeanor, because of his occupation at home (Superheroes have it rough, you know), and what he knows about people from his ability, he tends to be extremely distrusting. He knows and understands how people see things and the things that people do that are definitely bad. He has a very close knit circle of friends, and doesn't get close to others unless he has a lot of time around them to get to know them.
Eison is smart enough to have common sense and is a pretty logical person, although not a genius by any stretch of the imagination (he was an average student in school, B's and C's), but being one who has spent a lot of time around geniuses has given him an ability to fake his way through a conversation with others who are smarter than him without them noticing much. He sometimes feels dumb, though, when he's around others who are smarter, and can get down on himself when this happens.
Sometimes, his desire to help and his want to be close to people drives him and overrides the other parts of his personality. Logic tells him that he shouldn't get close to people -- occupational hazard and all. Also, something to note is Eison has a tendency to be harder on himself than he is on others, and works really hard because he is blind, and he doesn't want others to see him as weak.
HISTORY: Eison was born on June 13, 1985 in a small city in northwest New Jersey, bordering New York and Pennsylvania. The city he grew up in has plenty of superheroes. His family was average, far from boring, though. His father was a lawyer (Assistant District Attorney), his mother was a writer. And he had babysitters and constant attention from adults, be it his parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, or even family friends. He has no siblings. His parents worked hard, and his father instilled many of his morals onto Eison and gave him that strong sense of right and wrong, even in his youth. His parents did strive to not treat his disability as that, and because of that Eison became strong even in his years in school.
He attended public schooling through High School. In his earlier years of schooling, he was found sticking up for the kid who he heard was being bullied. He was always ready and attentive to fight by someone's side. Kids started to call him the school "Superhero", and he was very proud of hearing that. He didn't really hero worship, but he did use them as role models for what he would end up being in the future. When he got to second grade he met another student who seemed disinterested in the heroic acts he took upon himself, and scoffed him for it. After a year, they started to bond, mostly due to the fact that Eison's ability started to develop and it showed (this other child was special, too). This person allowed him to practice his ability on him. This boy's indifferent personality towards heroes never caused Eison to waiver in his desire to become on, and with the development of his skill, it was far more likely to happen. They separated after elementary school, and kept minimal contact.
By the time he was in high school, Eison was settled into who he was. He tried the vigilante thing, but it didn't quite work out as well as he had hoped. It was making his schooling suffer and his parents realized it, so he had to quit so the suspicion wouldn't arise. So he stopped that and focused on his work. Eison's high school years were quiet, almost lonely due to the separation from his friend who he had spent so long with. He wasn't as happy because the "Superhero" thing wasn't as admirable at that age.
Eison ended up starting college, and dropped out within his first years. He found that the environment was too different, and students there lacked the tact of those who he had known. College did pull him out of his shell, and this is when he regained his heroic personality. And dropping out made him realize how much he would love to pursue the heroics. He started his work as "The Sight" shortly after turning twenty. He joined up with his best friend from elementary school and moved in with him. He lives an easy life, and he is happy because he gets to devote himself to what he always had been -- being a hero.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: His ability is...unique, to say the least. As it were, he has a lot of normal, and expected skills. Now, in his canon, he has the ability to see through another person's eyes once he obtains contact with them, be it a vocal or physical contact (suchh as touching or holding someone's arm). And with that he is able to maintain the bond for extended periods of time beyond that contact. However, in this setting to diminish it, it will only be when he obtains a physical connection that he can create that bond -- and after losing that physical connection, The Sight starts to fade.
