Ugh. Why now?

I'm just getting the last of my things packed away as I write this, and I'm feeling really weird. I've got a bad case of butterflies. It's kind of strange, but I guess I can understand why. I mean, a lot of us Chosen Children have been out of action for a while now, and I'm not sure if things will just come back naturally or if I'm gonna end up

Yeah, a while ago we did. There was an outbreak of different Digimon around the world, and that was when we found out that there were Chosen Children from all over.

As for a date, ah... well, I'd have to get back to you on that one, since we haven't even left yet. ^_^;

Oh... 2002, around Christmas? That was the most Digimon with humans I'd ever seen in one place.

And I wouldn't call it as "letting me" as much as me insisting and just finally going through with it despite what my family thinks...

I wish I could go with you guys and help, but there's no way I could get away from my internship long enough to do so. I feel kinda useless these days, even though I'm helping people every day.

Yeah, but what you're doing is so important! You're saving people's lives everyday! Useless, hah! You're doing more than any of us could ever hope to do.

I guess when you do it every day, it doesn't seem so special after a while, especially when all your friends are getting ready to run off to the other side of the planet to fight a monster.

Well, I guess we could say the same thing, really. It's all perspective.

I still say that saving people's lives on a regular basis like that is pretty amazing, and is much more important. But that might be just one girl's opinion, you know?
