I adore you too! And I think I said something to that effect to You-Know-Who by accident!

Did you get my e-mail about my cousin? He might be able to help you.

I think I'm going to sell out and buy a mac mini, though.

It takes an army of kittens to bring down capitalists!

Don't. No compatibility.

Besides that... use Redhat Linux, Wine to emulate windows, and I forget the rest.

redhat sucks. it tries to do everything for you and fails.

use ubuntu if you want it to do everything for you; use debian if you don't but you're lazy; use slackware if you don't and you want to learn about your computer.

Well, your Coke comment led me here, so I'll answer your question. Linux is nice as long as your willing to go out on a limb a little bit. I like (and use) Ubuntu cause they keep it simple.
You can download it here:http://mirror.mcs.anl.gov/pub/ubuntu-iso/CDs/5.10/ or if you're not too good with computers post a reply and I can arrange for someone to give you a copy of the CD.

If you're not willing to make the jump (it can be scary) you can always take a small step and try Open Office, which is a nice alternative to Microsoft Office and can do the same tasks. You can get it here: http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.2/index.html
