Yeah, and I'm really sorry. You're one of the ones that I reeeeeaaalllly struggled with cutting, simply because I think we could have gotten along really well given time. I just don't HAVE a lot of free time for livejournal right now, and I don't think it's very fair to have a friend on your list that you don't interact with.
You're leaving HiH? It is just not fun for you anymore? I remember when I reached that point. Sometimes I miss it, but I know I don't have the free time AT ALL to rejoin.
Yeah, HiH just isn't the same as it used to be. Like, back when you were still at HiH, everyone is Ravenclaw was pretty much friends with everyone else, or at least we were all friendly and had fun with each other. Now that most of the oldies have left, the newbies make it feel like if you're not participating in tons of points-earning activities then you're not welcome. :/
Ugh, that doesn't sound fun at all! I remember when it reached the point of EVERYTHING being about winning the house cup. Um, isn't this supposed to be fun and games? Too bad things couldn't have stayed like they were in the "good ol' days."
I really feel much better now that it's over with. I just hate sharing myself so openly with people that I feel don't read, care, or respond at all. And I certainly kept you! I want to get to know you more.
LOL. I never realized that I always used that Amanda/Mary icon when we talked until you pointed it out. That's so funny! I promise to be more diverse from now on. I do have more icons than the one, promise! ;)
This kinda reminds me of how nervous I was a few years ago mentioning to the family about drawing names for Christmas vs. buying everybody and their garbage man a present. I was really nervous about it. When I finally brought it up to the family, there was a huge sigh of relief and everyone agreed immediately.
You manage your life and your spare time the best you can and we can all agree with it or go suck an egg. =)
And I love when things like that happen to me. I'll be blowing something up into this massive, nerve-wracking ordeal, and when I finally get it all out it becomes something that everyone agrees with or was feeling all along. We decided to do something similar with our extended family a few years ago. It's really nice, and now I only have to worry about buying presents for my mom and dad (as all four grandparents are deceased).

I sympathise with how hard it is doing a friends cut though, but don't feel guilty or bad, you have to do what you feel is best. :) *hugs*
Now...*ponders using Mary or Amanda icon with this comment...* Lols.
