Peony's thoughts on Chizu-nee~ --man it's weird to tilde on this account.

Chizu-nee is a firm friend and ally in camp and that is all that Peony needs to know. Just as Godot, she gives off the quiet impression that she doesn't want to be known about, and that more than any yelling or fussing will stop Peony in his curious tracks and make him take someone purely at face value. She's clearly got a story - surely has to have a story - and Peony would be delighted to know what it is BUT he won't poke or pry from her. She's helped him and his out too much for him to use the standard Peony battery of curious questions. Which is fine: he is, after all, used to this sort of gentle secrecy and is totally capable of tact. She is another of the group of people he would dearly love to set upon his council and watch them suffer.

HAHA WELL. At the moment, I think she's most likely to be a seer type. It's what was hinted at in the bit of anime I saw, and I think it fits in nicely with her fascination with the stars. She'd make predictions based on the stars; both of the best and worst outcomes. Which reading(s) she gives out would be based partly on the severity of the situation and partly on how horrible she's feeling. 8D

Now, Kamina and the brigade cannot return to their world. Where does he try to make them go instead, and does he succeed?

... he doesn't try anywhere else. :( Bottom line: Simon and Nia at least have too much stuff to do back home. He doesn't so much care about him and Yoko but those two Need To Go Back so he will not give up for he is Kamina and then he and Simon will somehow break reality and it will all be okay and then... he doesn't know. Kamina is relatively happy to traipse around random worlds getting into trouble with Yoko. They will do great things along the way and find a really roundabout route back home, it'll be all shonen 36-volume manga.

Oh, this and that. It was never as much about what they'd do around the capital as much as just extracting that promise out of Asch for Peony to lord it over his head later in infuriatingly right fashion. Peony isn't above the odd guilttrip, after all, provided it's from neatly out of view

What percentage of his time does Peony spend lurking in the bushes?

Literally speaking, very little. He's just got an SMS service to his mobile from camp giving him alerts, clearly.

Metaphorically or generally speaking, ho wow TONS. For all that he's social and outgoing and talkative and does really dumb moron things, he doesn't tend to get away from a very superficial level unless you really try or speak up about your problems or ping him. Otherwise you stay on a very pleasant sort of gentle ribbing level, where he'll laugh and joke and try to get whoever he's talking to to do the same. When it comes to a lot of the deeper social interaction, and relationship stuff in particular since he is a past lovelorn moron thanks Namco who is now totally okay with his bachelor status, he prefers to live vicariously. It's immensely satisfying to see two people he knows hook up, especially if he's had a hand in it. It's immensely satisfying for a practical joke of his to make Becky think she's a counsellor and boost her confidence. It's immensely satisfying to see uptight people loosen up once in a while. The

He very carefully does not think of things in those terms due to a long life of being a lovelorn retard. It's been bred out of him. Meryl is amusing to be around and they click and they're a pair of sudden kinda-parents and they go up and down a lot and he can deal with thinking about it like that. Ttly :(
