I'm usually not very impulsive and can resist most whiz bang geek toys - but I have to admit the iPhone is really sounding temping. Yes I know I should avoid the hype... and I'm sure the interest will fade... but it sounds like a pretty cool phone and mobile computing platform. They almost had me buying one when they announced Super Monkey Ball for it with use of the tilt sensor.

No kidding. And I have no doubt that it is a pretty superior application platform from a dev. perspective. That should keep it pretty interesting...

I'm fairly well tempted to get an Ipod Touch just for some of the apps that will be fine sans mobile connectivity, as far as PDA's go it's really showing that it might be the most robust solution.

I might get an iPhone if I can use it with my existing service (T-Mobile). I haven't read enough to know if the new ones let you do that.

You know what makes it tempting for me? The over the air sync to .Mac.

What makes it not tempting .... Switching from tmobile to at&t
