I'm not entirely sure which is more pathetically geeky:

A) That I have two different wireless access points servicing my 1200sqft apartment (one @ 2.4ghz 802.11g and one 5Ghz 802.11n)

or

B) They are called "Coast Starlight" and"California Zephyr" respectively.

It may be because there are more computers than people in my apartment, even if you count the cats as people (in fact, there are more computers than there are rooms AND people combined), but I'm gonna go with B. [grin]

Laughs!! When the ratio gets to 10:1, then I think you might have a problem! :-D

the geekiness quotient for that is so amazing I don't know where to begin.

If you were str8, I'd be buying a flight to Chicago right now ;) Or in other words, that's pretty hot.

Sorry, why do you have two wireless access points?

Bandwidth! ;-D

I want ~100Mb/s to my laptop so I have an 802.11n access point. However as soon as you throw g and b devices on it - it slows significantly (and music streams over "g" much of the time I'm home to the squeezebox) so I have my old g and b access point serving up the older format.
