Fishy Drabble

Eunhyuk awoke, keeping his eyes closed trying to hold on to the dream of his lover’s soft kisses. He felt something behind him, and almost, almost, turned to see if just somehow he wasn’t alone for once. But he knew it would just be a pillow pushed against his back once again. He knew if he completely woke up now, he would be hit with the reality that his lover was in another country doing sub-group activities. But with his eyes closed he could pretend for just a little longer that the pillow behind him was his Donghae, and the way the blankets wrapped around his exhausted body was the warmth of his arms.
He started to drift off to sleep once again, until his phone and alarm clock both rang at the same time, making him fall out of bed completely. He slammed his hand on the alarm clock, successfully shutting it up, before grabbing his phone and flipped it open, answering with an angry “Hello?” but before he could recognize the voice on the other side, he heard a grown coming from his bed. He looked up and saw a confused, sleepy looking Donghae. “Hyukkie? Who is calling?” The burnette mumbled.
The blonde dropped the phone and jumped onto the bed, almost landing on top of his lover. “Fishy!?!” Eunhyuk exclaimed, “When did you get here?!?” He exclaimed as he kissed familiar lips.
“Late last night, I didn’t want to wake you.” The burnette wrapped his arms around his lover and snuggled his nose into his hair. They lay there like that for a while,almost drifting back to sleep, until the phone ringing brought them out of their daze once more. “Hello?” the blonde said a bit more enthusiastic than before.
The blonde groaned, causing Donghae to smile and place a kiss on his forehead. Eunhyuk said a few more things before closing the phone. “We have to be at the studio in an hour.” He whined and clung to his lover again. Donghae chuckled and said “Come on, Let’s go to work , then I will take you on a date.”
Eunnhyuk jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom to get dressed and cleaned up. “Hurry up! We are going to be late!”
The whole day in the studio dragged on for the blonde, he just wanted to be done with work so he could spend time with his lover that he hadn’t seen in months. As the day drew on he got more anxious. Every time the burnette would look at him, or slightly touch his hand, he would blush and become giddy. Finally when they had finished all their work, he grabbed a hold of Donghae’s arm. “Bye guys! We’re leaving!”
The two of them ended up going to a movie, which they didn’t really watch, and to a ddokkbokki stand for some soju. By the time they made it home they were both exhausted and ready to crash. They quickly changed into shorts and wife beaters, before crawling into bed and curling up together. “Hyukkie?” The burnette questioned.
“Oh?” Eunhyuk mumbled as he looked up to meet his lover’s gaze. Donghae started moving his face closer, until he was close enough to place a small kiss on the blonde’s lips, before pulling away. “I have something to tell you...”
“What is it, fishy?”
“I will be leaving in the morning, I only had a couple days off to come back.” He sighed as he saw Eunhyuk’s eyes fill with tears, before he buried his face into his chest.
“I miss you so much.” The blonde whispered, trying not to show he was crying. Donghae made him lift his head and look at him, before kissing him slowly. The night was filled with whispers of love and longings.
