I feel a little bad, but I totally laughed at this:
Today, a milkbone commerical came on TV. At the end of the commercial, they whistle and throw a milkbone across the screen, prompting my 100 lb German Shepherd to leap off the couch and pummel my brand new plasma screen TV. FML

When I was little, I was home sick watching the educational shows they showed on PBS, and in one of them there was an overhead view of a mouse running through a maze. My cat--a mighty hunter who once left a hind leg we think was that of a small raccoon on the porch for us--FLEW off the couch, stood up on her back legs, and tried her damndest to dig that mouse out of that screen.
