Something to consider might be simply cutting off a lot of the people who make you feel that way. I know I've begun to withdraw from a lot of unhealthy relationships in the past year or two, and though yes, I do get lonely from time-to-time, I do feel it's done me good. You never really realize how detrimental some people are for you until you take a step back and just try to meet new people.
The thing about that is, even if they don't realize they're putting you down, they still are. It gets to a point where you have to say "fuck it" to being nice and do what's best for you, and if people get hurt, well it happens. It's better than biting your tongue and letting people step on you, that I can say with certainty.

;_; but the problem is many of those people don't realize and don't mean to bring me down. What am I to do with that? *sulks*
