Glorious! I spent the weekend up in Chicago for Pride. House parties, random boys on the street and a parade to end the weekend off. I tell you, it was a much needed break. do you find it slightly ironic that youre gay and yet you want work for the Red Cross?

Then again, I suppose its not their fault they cant take blood from gay men, so maybe its a mute point.

Actually me and some friends are planning on going out there next week. Ive been so spastic cause I have had the overwhelming urge to run around boystown, and Wriglyville and etc like I used to when I lived in the 'burbs.

I suppose Im just getting scared that Im losing my Chicago-ness.

I find the Red Cross thing even more ironic since I am converting to become jewish. The blood thing does bother me...BUT let me tell you when I go to work for them I will be the most out and vocal gay jewish worker that organization has ever seen...which probably means that everyone is going to get an ear full about the whole blood issue.
I already miss the northshore. Its starting to feel like home...though I am going to have to put a year in Oak Park before I start even looking at places in the northshore. *sigh*.
We should have a romp around Boystown someday. Just saying.
