Well I had an interview with City Year today, which went incredible. It was one of the most inspirational job interviews that I have had in a long time. Andy and I are no more. It was probably the best and most mutual breakup I have ever had. We just were not compatiable towards the end. *sigh* Oh well...hopefully a decent friendship develops. I have been really updating on my life through myspace lately. Completly forsaking that glory of livejournal. I have been dealing with a lot of unneeded nor asked for drama in my life lately. This is insane. I can't believe how fast time has been moving lately. eep! I'm excitied! :)

The date has been set. My last day of scheduled work is July 9th. July 10th, I am packing a few belongings and moving out of Iowa. Now I truly have a final countdown for leaving Iowa, 33 days. I"M BACK! Thats right, I have returned from my faithful little trip to Vegas. I am completly and utterly broke, my body wants to fall apart, but since I do not have any STDs (helps to be in a monogomous relationship) I am going to say it was a pretty good little trip.

Oy! I am about to cut through the cornfields of Illinois yet again. EXCEPT this time at the end of the corn, there will be a plane to take me to the desert. Viva Las Vegas!!!!!! SO I got the phone call from the Red Cross Disaster Relief. Out of all the applicants they picked me and three other people. It is not my ideal choice, since I would not be able to have another job and have to live on an AmeriCorps salary, but it does build my confidence for my next interview for another job on Friday.
