Visiting Charlotte

So I'm in Charlotte visiting my family and friends.

I was slightly disgusted when I realized that my parents were diagnosed with a bad case of republicanism. I truly knew it was incurable when I saw the appreciation support glossy 8 1/2 x 11 picture with John McCain and Sarah Palin’s signatures.

It sounds like, and since I don't really know them I can't say, that they settled for being a medium fish in a small pond rather than risk becoming a small fish in a big pond.

....now the fact that the interpreting world is a very very small world where everyone knows everyone, that seems very sad indeed....

I'm here till Saturday. I flew in from Raleigh and fly out from Raleigh. I have no car I kind of feel like I'm a teenager again. :p
