i woke up perfect, didnt think anything could wrong. right after my shower my dad calls me and tells me he "just needed to hear my voice". but the thing that really got to me was that he didnt sound like himself, it kinda sounded like he was about to break down, and he wouldnt tell me whats really wrong. thats fucked with me all day. i cant think

Try calling him (that all depends on if they allow patients to recive incoming calls) if not, heck even if, send him a letter.
All in all there is jack-shit you can really do except support him and hope for the best.
