Have you read Plato's Euthyphro? Is something good because the god/gods desire it or does god desire it because it is good? If the former, than there is no sense in asking if the mandates of the gods should yield to Right, as their mandates are what make something right. If you say the opposite, you have to argue what is the "Right" that you would know it more than the gods would!
