I broke down crying before bed yesterday. This year has been beating me over the head as it is, and I know it's been hard for others as well. To lose Kazuki Takahashi is to lose a dear friend. Noticed Dreamwidth is red and pink. Seems like a lot of females use this site. You post on any other journals that are basically for everyone?

No. I can't get into Insanejournal, as it's invite-only. Same with Deadjournal.

I think things on Dreamwidth can be customized....

I was feeling very silly that day, lol. I'm an unusual person and most people don't get me, so it was sort of a tongue-in-cheek name because of that. My usual moniker is Lucky Ladybug, after the old novelty song.

I found out belatedly, too. While I never agreed with some of his writing (particularly how he handled Mai, Joey and Seto at various points), the man had obvious talent to inspire gamers and non-gamers since 1996 and well into the future. And it was interesting to see him regain some control of the anime side of things with DSOD, as polarizing as it was. I think he even met Green and Stuart, too ( ... )

I found out when most people were finding out, but definitely a shock. I certainly didn't agree with everything in the manga, but yes, he was still very creative and talented and open-minded! Eric Stuart said he actually said Eric's Seto was his favorite! And there's a picture of him with Eric and Dan.

So much lovely art, and yes, every YGO is so different.
