Being a tourist sucks. Plaques and statues of noble dead guys all look the same (why did i never notice this before?). The practise of travelling half a day to gaze wonderously at legendary mountain/artwork/hilarious road sign, be photographed standing in front of it, look at it for one last minute (getting kinda bored by now), then whipping out

All very true, very cool stuff. And you're totally right. It's not the places we've been that we'll look back on with love. It's the memories of the people we spent time with in those places.

Speaking of postcards...you left one in my car. If you email me Sir Chad's address, I can get it in the mail today along with the CD of Alistair Begg's sermons...(perhaps another surprise CD as well, if you ask nicely....)
