Moving forward

When I went travelling, one of my goals was to imagine a whole new life for myself once I got back. A vocation, a routine, a set of disciplines all better than before. Somehow, two months on, I've stumbled into exactly what I'd hoped for ( Read more... )

I was going to phone you tonight but then remembered it would have been about 5am in Austin right then.. so I decided I'd let you sleep.

i'm realizing i'm needing new disciplines in my life. i've started running again several times a week. but most importantly, i'm trying to really focus on praying. i know how important prayer is for feeding me and my faith and yet i neglect it so often. i know it will become easier once i keep at it, but i'm trying to teach my mind to focus when i pray..

your little bit on praying with your pastor is great.

I'm happy for you, man.
By the way, Elaina mantioned something about visiting Aussieville a few days ago. I guess she was rather taken with the generosity and honesty you seem to emanate. It might have something to do with the accent too... :)
Also, I read Velvet Elvis. Great book.
I don't know ow much into heavy music you are, but you definitely want to pic up the new album by Nora Jean called Redeemer. It's an amazing album that rocks my socks off.

Anywyas, it's nice to see things are going well. GOd Bless.
