there's a loom in my room. it's just sort of hanging out with a buzzed sort of "hey, how's it going" exuded attitude. let's hope it sobers up by the time i start weaving on it.

today was the charm city craft fair i sold...

lots of buttons
one woven scarf
two totes
two pillows
two knit scarves

i feel that i did well.
now i have time for finals.

step three of braces. they're in and poking against the inside of my mouth. it took two to two and a half hours. the best part was with the woman at the desk in the office, she asked me if i needed a note for the school office explaining my absence from classes.... terrific.

it's always weird to get that feeling like you're about to cry, but for no real reason... sewing machine here i come. i'm going through a mid-life loom crisis type thing too.

last night i saw i heart huckabees, there are lots of characters riding bikes in the street and i decided that i really love parts in movies where people ride bikes down the street. it makes me very happy. today i rode my bike to the studio and there's something so immensely pure and pleasurable about riding a bike on a gorgeous day. pleasurable ( Read more... )
