Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can

I really feel like I've been slacking with my workout! Ugh, I really need to start on it today. What is it about complaining that you don't like something, but it's so freakin' hard to take charge and actually make a change to it??? Like HELLO! one will lead to the other ( Read more... )

pasta at 11:30 = bad idea!!!

4 hours before bed the only type of carbs you really want to consume (typically) are veggies (green beans and crap)

By eating pasta before bed its a complex carb that will digest over night and give you energy from the carbs. The energy will make yous leep restlessly and since it isnt being burnt at a steady rate it will convert to fat :(

For the most part, yout ypically just want protein and fats before bed. And for protein typically stuff that digests slowly. Cottage cheese is awesome before bed, i typically will either eat a chicken breast and salad or hit up the Caesin protein powder.

Just a thought! keep looking up!

yeah i know all about what I SHOULD be doing, since I had to stay in good shape with I was Irish dancing, but it's been almost a year since I quit so of coarse your body goes into shock mode. The eating I'm getting better at, last night was a fluke, late night. But tonight I'm eating before 730, I usually make it to be by 1130 so anything between 7-730 is good. I really wish I had the energy to work out in the morning instead of after work....you think either makes a difference burning wise?

I find walking / cardio before you go to work or eat breakfast burns a lot more fat since your body is deprived of any carbs it will eat into the fast first. But you cant bring your heart rate up TOO much or else you'll burn muscle instead of fat (its easier to burn).

As for lifting before work, i really hate it honestly. It might burn more calories if you do it befor eyou eat, but honestly i tried it a few times and i have to get atleast breakfast in me to get the carbs flowing into my system. otherwise im just exhausted and feel like crap in the gym.

And yeah it happens :P dont worry about messing up your intake every now and then, if anything itll shock your system at the same time :)
This saturday im getting some ice cream, chocolate cake, and wine. I cant come up with a main course though! Any suggestions? (no pizza / chinese)
