Sunday was a slow day, for the most part; or so it seemed. We headed over to our little range and did some shooting, obstensibly to zero our CCO's (close combat optics), but also to do some reflexive fire. This 'haji' stuff certainly sucks for the good guys names Haji. 'Enemy' is only one more syllable. I know this must sound lame, but it makes a big difference to stateside parents with kids entering recruiting age. Everything you say and do, especially here, is scrutinized by the folks who have the biggest say over whether you the Army shrinks or grows.

Hey there coward! When you come to this country, put on one of our uniforms, carry a weapon, and put your life on the line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, then you can tell me what conduct is and how to do it.
