Erm. That was partly sarcasm. :-)

Honestly, you'd need to ask S&S what their criteria for publication is, since I know we don't get published in there, usually.

You can also ask Soldiers Magazine what they want, and work that angle.

The ideas you have are really good ones, though, and make a lot of sense.
