A meaningful conversation
Following Nigel's birthday, I felt it was only right for me to send him a greeting email.
1stly, it was his birthday.
2ndly, we have not been talking for a year and being strangers is the last thing I would want from a failed relationship.
And so, I did. Sent him a short & simple email wishing him happy birthday.

There might be an unexpected surprise for me regarding my work. SF let slipped of it that day and yesterday HR came over and told me there's a secret she wants to share. :) I'm keeping my fingers cross. If it happens, it will be an additional bonus because it is not within my expectations. If it doesn't, I won't be too disappointed either. -

A new year
The new year eve party we had was more than wonderful, and for me - the organiser, seeing each and everyone enjoyed themselves was a pleasure.
We had dinner at Sin Hoi San at Tiong Bahru before proceeding back to our room for our get-drunk party.
