if a livejournal comment is worth anything anymore, i just want to say i know loneliness can be so consuming, but remember it's blinding too. just because you don't fit in where you are currently doesn't mean you fit in nowhere, it just means that you might have to broaden your horizons to see what's out there with an open mind (whether it's places, people, jobs, nature, volunteering, whatever it may be). and when you spot that place that feels nourishing & accepting, launch yourself there any way you can and ignore the urge to further root yourself in an environment where you're unhappy.
beating yourself up, wondering what's wrong with you, things like that, are really only going to make you feel more isolated and less deserving of happiness. and you deserve it, and you're not alone. <3
