Notes: I was inspired to write this from a kink meme prompt, "You look good in red." However, that prompt was not only filled, it was ancient, and so I decided just to make this just on my own.

I got a number of comments on FFNet saying that the last part seemed hopeful, but I was just following history. Russo-Chinese relationships have become much better in recent years over finding a common enemy in America.

Sadly you Americans know nothing about '91. Sadly but naturally. *sigh* Mayby one day I'll used to thought many people who like Russia (as character) don't know simple things about our history ))

No, it is criticism, but it's legitimate, so don't apologize. I tried to do as much research as possible, but it clearly wasn't enough, and I appreciate you commenting to inform me. You cannot become a better writer without getting criticism.

I would only protest to your generalization, that Americans naturally don't know about 1991. I actually find that kind of offensive, since not all Americans are the same. It sounds like you think we're all ignorant, which, well, we're not.

In any case, could you tell me what I did wrong, more specifically? Because like I said, I did do research, and I would like to know where I'm lacking.

For some reason, LJ doesn't want me to send posts. Anyway, I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only person on the internet who hasn't read Hetalia, but the fic was still very interestingly done, and while I haven't had time to read it until just now and shouldn't even be up, I can't find anything really worth pointing out problem-wise as of this writing. I know I have no right to say so any more, but it's good to hear from you again for what it's worth, even with just fic stuff.

First of all, thanks for the story comments. I'm a Creative Writing major now, so I like to think that my writing has improved, and I'm glad if it shows. Hetalia is a pretty interesting show, not to mention hilarious, and it has enough political references to interest even my friends who hate anime.

Now that I'm done with thanks, I want to say, whoa. What. I mean, not to be a negative nancy, but there's a reason we haven't talked in like, a year, and that reason is that last time I talked to you, you insulted me halfway to Sunday. You made it pretty damn clear you thought I was nothing more than a manipulative bitch, so excuse me if I'm a bit confused about why you're talking to me again now, and please understand if I'm a little hesitant to return the sentiment.

As I said, I'm well aware that I don't have the right to talk to you, and likely never did; nothing I can say can justify either my prior actions or my current attempt to speak. It's a personal matter, so I shouldn't be explaining in public even if you would allow me to, but I've always regretted exploding at you. I always did like you, but I allowed the sheer resentment at the fact that you were born perfect while I've always known I'll never amount to anything eat away at me until I was too bitter to do anything but lash out, and in so doing prove just how disgusting a person I was. I've had time for the resentment to cool down, and to realise how stupid I was to throw everything away when you deigned to be my friend to begin with ( ... )

Yes, that was totally a Palin reference at the end. I had actually forgotten I had put it in there until another reviewer reminded me.
