Likewise to my Paris....
Meet me where the sky meets the sea
we will taste sumptuous delights, live like royalty
the dullness, the dreariness of everyday
will dissipate like the shimmer of sun on the water.

The curve of your smile, the ravened curls
set on a tawny brow, you melt the frozen facade
lie with me-i'll poison you all through
to pulse in veins that make this trembling touch

Time is not wasted, if the memory
is clear, transculent, beautiful and true
what is reality but an illusion?
illusions, claw your way into this soul.

so may the open oceans lengthen, stretching wide-
as we slowly drift off to the whims of tides

(p.s.-was that a freestyle sonnet? or did you make it 14 lines by accident? j/w.)

nice nice, i shall have to start making more poems... now that I am inspired by your meticulate selections of emotions in verse. (in other words your poems rock my socks four times and more) No originally I was just writing on a notebook and then I picked up the notebook again for the first time to use in my honors class and I saw that poem (somewhat complete) so I decided to finsish it free verse in the shape of a shakespearean sonnet (without the rythm scheme of course) . And since Helen is the most beautiful mortal in the ancient world and you are the most beautiful in the modern world I decided to name it Helen (really eluding it to you)
