So apparently I haven't been submerged under the depths of the Earth, and no I don't plan to. In a few words, I've been busy. You know, college stuff.

Really cool! I love batik fabrics! I just don't have much of them as they don't really mix in with my other standard fabrics ;) The batik process is very cool, I've read about it a bit!

Thanks! If it's not for an assignment, I think I would enjoy making them. Hahaha.. I'm not really good with deadlines.
I dunno, but it seems to me that there's something about batik motifs (traditional ones, anyway) that makes it hard to mix them with other motifs besides itself and plain ones.

By the way, if you ever get the chance to go to Indonesia, there are several sites that have batik workshops where visitors can have their own go at making their own batik. I have to say it has its own zen for me (stress with deadlines aside).
