Project Peanut Butter is a project run by Dr. Mark Manary, who is doing his best to eradicate malnutrition in Malawi and Sierra Leone.

Carver was an amazing person. I've never heard of Plumpy'Nut before, but the formula is very similar to a snack my friends and I used to serve our kids, which involved mixing peanut butter, powdered milk, and honey together, rolling the mixture into balls, and optionally rolling the balls in sesame seeds. I wish there were a way to get this food to all the children around the world who need it; it's very sad to realize not only that there are people who are starving, but that often the reasons they are doing so are as much political, as a lack of resources.
