I'm really glad you're posting again. Someone's gotta keep it real on LJ for the 40somethings who aren't going the twitterpated facebook soundbyte route, and I can't do it by myself.
I missed you while you were gone without even realizing it (the power of online interactions - out of sight, out of mind). I originally added you when I was considering a move to Iraq and I found your journalism style informative and real.
Nevertheless, I did notice your journalism overtook your journal and Mark Kraft appeared less and less. I enjoyed the occasional glimpses into your personality that you allowed you reader and like many of your readers I developed a kinship to you just from those few posts. I remember your thoughts about your mother, and your deep passion for injustice.
