In the interests of not writing off Second Life entirely, I decided to do some modelling. All dressed up with some glasses and a tie for, hmm, secretarial duty?
Like Ultima Online, the people who played it will forever maintain that it was the only one that got it right and everything else to follow just screwed the formula up!
That's so true! I'll bet if the Second Life system persists for fifteen years from now, even when it's obsoleteled by...I don't know...the X-Box 1080p BrainLink, people will still swear by it. Pry those chunky prims from their cold, dead hands!
Maybe, some day in the future, there will be a wing in the Shady Acres Retirement Villa for Second Life people, maybe even including a few of the surviving Atari ST zealots still muttering to themselves after all those years.
You know when the quality of interaction in your system is still all too inferior to a text-based MUD of all things, technology right out of the 1970s, that you've got some work to do.
