[Of course, even Ken can't sleep through anything at all, certainly not while feeling... well, like this. That lasts as long as it takes for Rise to start shouting at him, and he starts, raising his head and blinking.]
Huh? ... Rise?
[Blink. Blink. 'Dazed' is about the only word for it right now. Okay, Hidaka, she asked you a question...]
I got this thing on me and it won't come off. I gotta... [He yawns. Blinks again.] Gotta make it come off.
[There's no bite to his voice. Ken would like to sound angry, but he just sounds tired. Looks it, too, though perhaps the bit where he's resting his head on his arms again might be a bit of a giveaway.]
Don't ask me what it is. Stuck there's all I know.
[... well, so much for keeping it from the others.]
It's okay, Omi, I stopped.
[And it's probably obvious just from the sound of his voice that Ken really isn't feeling himself. He sounds as drained as he looks and the damnedest thing is there's really no reason for it--

Wouldn't it be easier to just use a knife? Or your claw thing?

Claw thing's too big. Too many blades. So's a knife.
[Oh, it's you.]

[Instead of going to a doctor or something.]
Maybe you should try a hammer and chisel next.

[And he'd like to sound angrier, but Ken just sounds tired. Probably because he is.]
It's stuck and it won't come off. I gotta get it off somehow.

Ken! Just what do you think you're doing?!

[He's still sat right where he was, he's even still holding the scissors. But Ken's head is rested on his forearms and he's very clearly dozing off.]

Even if you need to take it off doesn't mean you should use scissors to do it!

[He probably needs one all the same. But he's got to at least try and fix this first--]
I dunno. It's just... got stuck. Like it grew there or something and... and it won't come off and dammit, I hate this!
[... yeah, someone is not at all happy with his new sparkly.
[He looks stupid in purple, too.]

[Well. Maybe there's one.]

You need to see a doctor. Right away.
[And stopping your protest before it can come.] --"I'm fine," it isn't! Doc. tor.
[DO YOU SEE THIS STERN LOOK, KEN? YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ENERGY TO ARGUE WITH IT. TRUST ME.]
