I had a panic attack for the first time in forever last thursday. It sucks when they suprise you like that. Stay strong! You can always IM me if you want someone to talk you through one. I'm sure you're pretty tough though.

well thank you, R!!! I know - the panic attacks really suck :( - in the past year mine have gone from free floating anxiety to something that feels a lot like a heart attack - tightness in chest, feels like i can't get enough air, light headed - sound familiar? when i had my first one a few months back we actually called 911 because my hands went numb (i was hyperventilating) and the EMT talked me off the ledge - told me to breathe in through my nose for a 7 count and out through my mouth for a 10 count. And oh yeah - take my xanax ;)
I don't know if i have you on IM - I have ICQ and Yahoo, are you on either one of those? Let me know and i will add you in case either one of us freaks out :)

My AIM name is the same as my livejournal name, the only other chat thingy I use is the gmail thingy. I should just use trillian like everyone else...
