1. This weekend, I had for the first time since my childhood a rootbeer float. I'd been wanting to try one for awhile now, because while I distinctly remembered not liking them, I couldn't remember exactly what it was I found so unpalatable about a rootbeer/ice-cream combination. Ohhh, I love rootbeer floats. They give me a stomach ache, but I love them just the same. Sort of like exquisite self-torture. Yours sounds like a case of classic food aversion. My profs love that kind of stuff. Can I bring you into the psych department so we can study you? ;)

Family Video is the place to go for older movies like that. If I remember correctly, they actually have a section dedicated to older movies. Of course, those are still in the form of VHS tapes that were manufactured a couple of decades ago, but usually they still work. Plus, Family Video is usually cheaper (assuming you get your videos back on time, which, of course, I do not).

I should start going to Family Video. Thanks for the advice; I wasn't sure if they'd be much better. Plus if they're cheaper...

And of course you and the psyche department could study me. I'm just afraid of what you'd find. Food adversion is probably just the tip of my mental iceberg ;)

Granted, I haven't been to Blockbuster in years, but I'm pretty sure Family Video is still cheaper. Plus, if you get a new release, you get a $1 rental for free. Can't beat that.

That mental iceberg comment made me laugh. Although I must say that you're more willing than I would be. No need for my profs to examine me and discover how sane I really am not. ;)
