Somehow, I was able to spend my entire evening in the library without accomplishing much at all. The problem with trying to work in the library, I find, is that I'm too likely to be distracted by the presence of books. Such that I find myself concentrating less on the work I'm suppose to be reading and more on random things that take my interest ( Read more... )

I can empathize. In the KC Room there are a plethora of distractions. The one I discovered this morning was the Romanian Journal (trans) History, with articles on Chinese opera and what not. At least I have been good about not leafing through Cosmo.

But why oh why must all the Martha Stewart issues be at the Business school!?!

I would have that problem at the library too, except that I owe them my soul in fines... so I've stayed away lately.

My alarm clock is approximately 6 feet away from my bed, as I have the bad habit of turning it off without even waking up. ...On second thought, I still do that anyway and end up sleeping for an extra two hours just about every morning.
