Thoroughly impressed that you've stuck with a character for so long. Maybe it's just because I'm as flighty as a feather but as soon as I saw your creation date I had to let out a low whistle of approval. Characters and me are like songs and me, I'm obsessed with them for a bit and then I can't stand the thought of them. Eventually they reach a point where I can stand them again but there's no consistency

Ahh, I opened my inbox the other day and saw this comment and just glee'd a little, I am sorry it has taken me this long to reply.
I'm glad you like him so much! I didn't realize how long I'd been working with him as a character until I wrote that date down, either -- but I am the sort of writer who takes things in sprees, so projects/characters/etc. get put on the backburner for months at a time, too. Which means they stick around for a long while, I guess, otherwise nothing would ever get done.
The personality types are actually easy as pie to get, too. ;D The mypersonality.info site has a quiz you can take, and if you answer it like your character would, you can get a more or less decent overview of what kind of person you have and what might need tweaking. It's kinda fun.
Anyway, yes, thank you! :D And if you have anything about your Christian somewhere that I have overlooked, I'd love to check it out, too.
No problem, I'm horrible with responding to LJ comments so whenever I see someone has replied to one of my own I'm thoroughly impressed they didn't just keep putting it off like I always do.
Ah. Okay, I understand that. I almost do that with my characters and yet instead of a back-burner they get put into this magical box that changes most of their personality traits by the time I get around to taking them back out.
I might do that~ I'm kind of interested in what it would say for my current novel's characters since I don't know them all too well yet.
I don't think I've written anything about him~ He was the MC in a one-shot that I wrote for a storybook retelling in one of the writing communities I'm involved in. I might try and expand upon that one day though, and if I do I'll definitely make a post in my writing journal or my regular one.
