The 10 commandments movie (2007)

We took Shannon with us last evening for the Singapore premiere of
The Ten Commandments (2007) - the movie. It is an animated movie, targetted at both the young (In my opinion, the kid must be at least 4 years old to appreciate it)and the adults.

The movie opens in cinemas in Singapore on 5/6th Dec.

I remember watching The Ten Commandents eons ago with my mum, starring what's-his-name's. Chalton something? i still remember the parting of the red sea till today.

yes, this is a "re-make" in an animation picture way. u can get the DVDs next time for Josh! The biblical Joshua appears at the end of the movie when Moses passes on the reigns of the leadership to him before the people enter the land which God lead them to.

We found it very enjoyable, with Shannon staying in her seat with popcorn and following the show well. She later told us it was an amazing show! :)

For this movie, the voice overs are by Christian Slater (voice of Moses), Ben Kingsley the narrator and Elliot G as voice of God.

but hor, we heard it flopped in the US when it opened cos there was too much competition and being a biblical-based movie, not so appealing to the general masses.
