This excellent, and an awesome idea. FYI, your whiteout only works on the default LJ background - I could see it quite clearly on my flist. I think you have to make that particular section of text have a white background as well as white text? I've never done it before. Nevertheless, I think the characterisations shone through wonderfully.

Gah, didn't think of that. I just took it out because I was too lazy to try to work out the background setting too.
