So I had this really cool thought yesterday after my last post. When I look at pictures of other people I don't go though and scrutinize their bodies. I see the person I know. I see their sense of humor and their personality and what makes me happy about them. But then when I look at myself in pictures I just see this blob of flesh, and I critique ( Read more... )

Andrea, you're an amazing person, and when people see you, they see someone who is caring, loving, compasionate, and wonderful.

I agree, it's pride when we can't say nice things about ourselves. It's a false humility. It's also tearing down the handy work of God, and that's just not good either. Heck, I'd even go so far as to say it's sin. God knew what he was doing when he made us, make no mistake!

You're cool, I have fun around you all the time, and you always bring things back to God in the end, which is no only good and right, but also truely humble and truely humble people are the best people to be around (wow, that was a run-on sentence!)!

In short, you cools.
